Heidi Heldt - Managing Partner
I came to J.L. Stader in a way that was meant to be. Searching for a barn wood harvest table for my kitchen, I met John Stader two years ago at his lumber yard in Westfield, IN. Today, my family eats dinner at our beautiful reclaimed wood barn wood harvest table and I'm John's business partner in J.L. Stader Artisans. When asked to describe my job, I like to say that I do a little bit of everything except actually build with the wood. I graduated from DePauw University with a degree that has nothing to do with wood (sorry, dad). It turns out that anything I learned about psychology and religion is going to need to be applied in raising my three boys with my husband of 13 years, Tom. Life is full, busy, and never dull! When I'm not with my family or working, I train as a competitive masters rower with the Indianapolis Rowing Center. I'm excited to be a part of this business and offer our customers historic materials and beautiful designs.
